the nu romantics

the last couple nights have been a bit rough and im learning losing someone close will never get easier. its just something we have to go through and deal with. ive now lost 3 people to car accidents and i dont think i can handle anymore. i have had a certain album on repeat for the last almost 3 months and today its officially released. not only are they very dear friends, but ive been a fan of since my 4 month stay in Chicago nearly 6 years ago. i can somehow relate to every single song on this record. and when that happens, i think its quite amazing and rare. its good to know you're never alone. and there are so many others like you in the world. its been especially comforting over the last 2 days. ive been pushing this for quite a while so it wont hurt to say it once more.... congrats to one of my favorite group of artists, dear friends, and best dressed, for an epic album that has been uplifting like a close friend, while you've been away. it is truly flawless and i have been awaiting this revolution. <3

we dream a lot, we sold our trust

well.. its been exactly one month since ive posted in my bloggy blog. i twitter far more than i should, so if youre on there, twitter.com/twink6
today is a bit of a glum day. obvi.
so im staying at home and working on a tshirt. ive recently become fascinated with a certain LA designer that uses an incredible technique to her fabric.. and you know when you see something and youre like 'i can SO do that'. well that thought crossed my mind so i decided to try it but its EXTREMELY time consuming. however its lookin pretty sweet. ill post pix when im finished.
mbot left to fill in for dan in kill hannah. i miss my bff but i know hes in good hands. im bummed theyre not playing in LA.
currently in my 'not going out' mode. which is good because im more productive. however, i did go out last weekend and had an absolute blast. sang karaoke with davey. talk about embarrassing. thats like hanging your scribbled version of starry night next to the original. maybe not that intense.. but you know what i mean. his old band loudermilk has meant so much to me in my life. we met a few years ago, and i kept going on and on about how his vocal style and lyrics are so captivating and im completely obsessed. oddly enough, he didnt think i was insane and weve been good friends ever since. i highly, highly recommend loudermilk which later became gosling. SO good.
i really want a giant print of the background photo of them when theyre on stage. the red and yellow one of their faces. think i can make it? i think so ;)
